Planes[edit]

Planes have been around for a long time, first made by the wright brothers. As they were making the plane, people said it wasn't going to work. But as we see today, it worked. Back in world war 1, we started using planes as attacking vehicles. Then in World War 2, we started to improve the plane to where we could fly for a long amount of time, such as the B-29, which was used not only for long ranged bombing, but was also used in the nuclear bombing of Japan. As World War 2 started to come closer and closer to an end, jets where discovered. Jets replaced some prop planes. Some of the jests back in World War 2 were the ME-262, Horton 229, and so on and so forth. Today, we have the F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning, A-10 Warthog, B-52 and more and more. As world war 2 came to an end, planes, such as the B-17, started to be used for transportation. Today we have the Boing 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, 797 Airbus A-320 A-330 and ect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.4.147.219 (talk) 23:50, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
