I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Really notable?[edit]

This article sure is an interesting trivia, but as it is only related to the book and movies, there should be serious consideration of merging AND tidying up the text. If there would be some information that would tie this article in larger circles of pop culture or some other articles the existence of this sole article would be IMO justified. Now it's a sole movie trivia article which is degrading Wikipedias credibility as a fact source. Scream[edit]

I really want to know how they made that scream. It gave me nightmares! It's so unearthly, almost Tasmanian devil-like. When I first saw it, I thought it was just ambiance, but then I found out it was them making the noise, and I almost pissed myself. Anyway, background on the sound effects would be great. Also, the beginning where they're showing the pod people's origins? That was amazing! How did they make the gelatinous worm-like things look so real? It was perfect! X-COM[edit]

The Micronoid Aggregate, which is the true antagonist of the X-COM series, was possibly based on the Pod People. They are both Extraterrestrial Parasites that depend on the assimilation of other species and the consumption of their resources for their own survival. --Arima (talk) 08:18, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
