Political repression and harmony and stability[edit]

User:Arilang1234/Draft/中央维护稳定工作办公室 is an article I was going to create, but never did find the time for it. My opinion is, the current regime is more worried about social stability than into political repression. A question that seems to be lacking an answer, is:What is the "political stance" of the current regime? Arilang ^talk 14:19, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There political stance is to keep power, and implementation of all measures that will prevent a social unrest. These measures include both political repression of anti-party elements who may take advantage of public dissatisfaction with government policies, and social security policies so that the public remains loyal to the party. --Reference Desker (talk) 14:33, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What's the point of this article?[edit]

Instead of having lots of little stubs, why not merge this into Political offences in the People's Republic of China, that is not a long article that it needs a split. Just put it under 'current' or add a section. Also, I assume that you are planning on expanding this, since as of now, it's about online dissidents, which can be perfectly merged into Internet censorship in the People's Republic of China. actually, there is a section on political stuff [1], add it there or add a new section.
