Citation[edit]

Why does the France Road container facility statement need a citation? I don't know if you can find it in the Times-Picayune, but it's closed. I've driven by there. =P "Beer is proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy." - Benjamin Franklin 21:49, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well somebody wanted one, so, what the heck, I put one in. -- Muffuletta 01:52, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane Katrina and other history?[edit]

What effect did Katrina have on the port? It seems to me that some significant history is missing from this article. 2600:1700:200:980:71E5:E3E6:8181:28E1 (talk) 20:50, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Inappropriate link style pursued[edit]

An editor is insisting on USA for country for the port template. That is unencyclopedic terminology. The proper term is United States.

Additionally, the editor is deleting links that are important to the substance of the discussion of the port. For example, linking Mississippi River is hardly excessive use of linking. The significance of the port of New Orleans is that New Orleans is at the mouth of the Mississippi River.Dogru144 (talk) 19:01, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
