I would like to discuss with anyone who believes that the Portland Thunder and Portland AFL Team articles should be merged. Some believe that they should go together be they are the same franchise. Others feel they should be separated because they will be two different teams. Opinions? NostalgiaBuff97501 (talk) 18:29, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merge: This isn't even close. It's the same team, just going to be re-named.

RE:(talk) No they shouldn't been merger by legal rights Portland Thunder are owned by investor while the new team is currently is owned by afl until owner is found and it will be renamed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreamactno (talkcontribs) 23:30, 4 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

RE: The only thing that's changing here is the nickname and branding of the team. The roster, the facility contracts and player contracts are all league owned, and the AFL's website lists this as the 3rd season of this organization. DMC511 13:33, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
All of the articles need to be merged. There is some history merging that needs to be done as well. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 00:16, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
