Clean-up[edit]

Cleaned-up introduction and first part. Sachs section stills reads too like an essay. thisisace (talk) 21:16, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

France Section[edit]

Why does this section even exist? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.161.199.80 (talk) 01:48, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Plans[edit]

Hi to anybody that is still watching this page! Given that the last comment was six years ago and the edits have been thin since then, I am strongly considering making some major additions to fill in the content void and introduce a plethora of new, peer-reviewed sources. You can see on my user page a brief list of my plans which include addressing the lack of context, scope, causes, and manifestations of poverty traps and a section addressing some of the different types, including those built upon racial disenfranchisement. I'd also love to hear thoughts about merging this article with similar pages that are also stubs such as Cycle of poverty. Anyways, I hope this topic can be revamped on Wikipedia and given the attention it deserves. Thanks. -- UnoDosTrey (talk) 01:49, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Well, it looks like we are going with the merge option which seems optimal. I guess I'll hold off on any major additions and focus on other articles for now. — UnoDosTrey (talk) 20:43, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
