the gem[edit]

I'm not sure what the last sentence means (beginning "But erratically"). But meanwhile – What is the effect of the gem? Does it bend time, create an illusion of what's going on in its vicinity, simply cut off mystic eavesdropping, or what? —Tamfang 00:16, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

Angel said the gem creates a "glamour", i.e., a magical illusion. It creates an illusion of what's going on in the room to anyone observing from outside.--Jwwalker 08:01, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
