Intro Paragraph additions[edit]

"Irving Gordon was asked to write the lyrics to the music. He said that the music was composed by Billy Strayhorn. Strayhorn sold the rights to Duke Ellington."

This was just added to the intro section of the article: the sentences aren't put together very well, and there were no references added. Furthermore, most Ellington believe this was an Ellington composition based on a melody Otto Hardwick played on the sax. This song was first recorded in August of 1938, and Ellington and Strayhorn didn't meet until December of 1938. --Tcxspears (talk) 14:11, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notable recordings Paragrah[edit]

Debra Harry's recording from the 1988 movie of the same name -- not knocking the film which was most likely great, and her version isn't horrible...however, calling it a notable recording is highly debatable. There are too many great recordings by bonified jazz artists to list. I've added Oscar Petersen's 1959 recording.
