Radioactivity?

[edit]

What about the wikipedia article with the nuclear fuel rods? Couldn't find anything in the web to back up that story. Delete? 205.217.245.166 (talk) 02:22, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I did not find any source that substantiates any of the claims of this story, nor a "Ted Bravansky" or the alleged 12 residents. Appears to be a blatant hoax. This small island really exists, but it is uninhabited most of the time (no water supply), and without the hoax part, the article is a one-sentence stub which is beening abused to promote commercial excursions (snorkelling and binge drinking) to the island. If really worth mentioning, the article should IMHO be merged into Antigua. RedSpy (talk) 17:35, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong image

[edit]

I'm going to remove the current image associated with this article, it's the wrong island, as confirmed by the info associated with the image itself. The island in the present picture is of "Prickly Pear island" off the coast of the island of Anguilla, approximately 100 miles to the northwest of Antigua. "Prickly Pear island" is a fairly common name in the region, there are a number of them in the eastern caribbean, so it's easy to see how the error was made. 70.48.217.87 (talk) 23:45, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
