controversy[edit]

When it someone going to address the entire "server=NotTheServer" controversy in this article? ProvideX must account for this liability. --Imagemonth (talk) 15:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Why don't you address it, even if only briefly? I don't know what the controversy is, although I have noticed that parameter in my generated odbc queries of some Sage products, and have wondered what it is supposed to mean. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.199.172.129 (talk) 14:18, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Syntax highlighting lost[edit]

Since the switch from Geshi to Pygments for syntax highlighting (phab:T85794), support for 'providex' was unfortunately dropped, as can be seen with the plain text formatting on this page and any others. If you want specialised 'providex' syntax highlight support again, it will need to be added to Pygments. Alternatively, if there is another language which has similar syntax, we can add that as a fallback. John Vandenberg (chat) 05:39, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
