Status[edit]

This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.

As the PRA will be a subsidiary of the Bank of England, and the Bank is operationally independent of government, describing it as a ‘future government agency’ is incorrect. Suggest this is changed to: ‘The PRA is a future financial services regulator formed as one of the successors to…’
