This song "Misirli" is originally a Turkish dance music. It can be heard in any wedding ceremony. As many others this is one of the common cultural values shared by both Turkish and Greek communities. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Organizing (talkcontribs) 03:19, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The text inside the parentheses in the first sentence is misleading. Pump It (recorded 2004) was not featured in Pulp Fiction (1994) and in fact Pump It derives it's main tune from the opening credits music featured in Pulp Fiction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.63.51 (talk) 07:17, 12 June 2010 (UTC) OK[reply]

Genre[edit]

As with virtually every other Black Eyed Peas article, this one is a frequent target of a prolific sock. Their goal is to remove any reference to the BEP being pop and add that they are R&B. Sources do not matter.[1]

I don't currently see anything calling this "pop", but I'll have a look. I don't see as source for R&B. - SummerPhDv2.0 02:36, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
