Could the song do with Kid Cudi trying to find happiness? He explains he is taking drugs ("... roll it up...") and during the video drinking (... driving drunk, doing my thing...). At the beginning he doesn't care ("People told me slow my roll I'm screaming out *** that"). Kid Cudi then realizes he is taking a shortcut to happiness and acts like a drug addict that he will get his fix soon ("I'll be fine once I get it, I'll be good.")
