According to Andras Mantia: "VPL is pretty much unmaintained in 3.5.x, what I do is just crash fixing. :-( But as I heard it is usable for some, so we did't remove it." -KDE Dot That is why nothing works. --Terrible Tim 16:16, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

I removed the advert-Tag, because the article just reflects the features of Quanta Plus. A few too enthusiastic phrases had to be cut, that's all. -- (talk) 10:31, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Accuracy question[edit]

Aka 'help question'. The line : Autocompletion for built in and user functions/variables is possible. is one of the few hits via google for any information on quanta's (the free version, not Gold) ability to do this. There's a couple of dead links in the old mailing lists circa 2004. There's no guides I can find to doing this, let alone any information on having it automatically do this.

So can whoever posted this please either confirm (and share with me - via here or at my user name at gmail or both) that this feature really does exist -- alternatively we remove the assertion from the article's page. jedd (talk) 18:59, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Project appears dead[edit]

Given that there has been no release in five years and that the project link appears dead it probably would be better to say QP "was" a web editor. Researching on the web it seems that the last release became abandoned when it would not run on newer KDE versions, at least not with luck & hacks. Besides it naturally won’t support modern languages like HTML5 or CSS3. -- (talk) 11:10, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
