Same species as Red-winged Blackbird[edit]

Is this bird the same species and falls under the same genus as the Red-winged Blackbird, a bird very much common in the continental United States? 24.13.28.25 (talk) 08:31, 25 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

I have removed the image, it is clear that Audubon depicted what is now a subspecies of phoeniceus, A.p. gubernator. The image on Commons is attributed to the wrong species. It persists in other languages. Acroterion (talk) 01:30, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
