Episodes and format[edit]

I've added a synopsis of the first episode and am awaiting the BARB figures and other reviews. Meanwhile, the infobox tends to swamp the first couple of sections, and makes the article look a little weird; this may resolve in time, but some history in the lead might cure that. Reception

Given the way that television reviewers tend to work, i.e. with preview tapes/DVDs, I'm assuming that their comments are largely directed to the opening episode, which is why I think the reception section belongs there, as we've done in the "Two Pints..." episode guide. I would think it unlikely that any other episode will generate such attention. Also, the BARB figures, when they arrive, will be appropriate for that episode, but for others may not be noteworthy. "paid-for house" in an early episode perrin declares that if he had "a smaller mortgage" then he would tell everyone what a stupid idea a new product is —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.170.88.72 (talk) 22:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews[edit]

Of course there is nothing on earth more subjective than comedy, but all of the media reviews I have heard of the series have been very positive, unlike the negative and lukewarm ones represented here - shall I try to redress the balance with some others? --Ndaisley (talk) 10:09, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I woudl say as long sa they're properly cited, like the others, go right ahead! Etron81 (talk) 13:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2nd series[edit]

i came to this article to find out if there was a planned second series, but it does not tell me. has a desision been taken, one way or another, on this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.133.92.229 (talk) 11:15, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would be surprised if they didn't make a second series, given how it ended, but I couldn't find a BBC press release mentioning a second series, so it's probably not been officially confirmed yet - I guess they'll base whether it gets recommissioned on the series' ratings, which looking at them are possibly a little disappointing (2.46m for the last episode isn't particularly good for Friday evenings). THe last episode was up againt Britain's Got Talent, so a heavy drop in viewin figures was always going to happen. The DVD commentary for 6th episode of series 1 talk as if they expect a second series, but since there is no real offical comfirmation, I don't think it be a suitable source. --Welshsocialist (talk) 20:09, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the BBC Press Office source talking about the 2nd series. --Welshsocialist (talk) 00:19, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Laugh Track[edit]

The first thing I noticed when I tried to watch this was the Laugh Track. This made the whole thing a non-starter and I gave up. ---Dagme (talk) 18:24, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
