Untitled[edit]

The previous link was a poor example of advertising, and linked to a French language site. Have replaced with a link more relevant to the architectural frame of the article. I have no affiliations to the lnk. Adrius42 (talk) 07:06, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency issues[edit]

Riad is capitalized, not capitalized and italicized all in the same section. I'm not sure which one is most appropriate as I don't think it's a proper noun, but I'm not sure if it's a word that is common enough in English to go without italics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.79.156.191 (talk) 06:50, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Change page title to just "riad"?[edit]

The term "riad" is associated with Morocco but isn't unique to Morocco, and most books just use the word "riad" without having to specify "Moroccan". The title "riad" doesn't seem to be used by any other topic and currently redirects here. So it might make sense to just change the page title to just "Riad"? Addendum: I take that back, partly. I was certain that I had tried searching for "riad" and that it redirected me here, but I now see that "riad" is in fact a disambiguation page. Not sure why I missed that. So maybe instead the question should be whether to change the title of the page to something like "riad (garden)" or similar to that... if it's worth it. After some more thought, I suggest that the page be moved to "Riad (architecture)", which should be both specific enough to disambiguate it from other pages and also general enough to cover all relevant subjects (e.g. riad hotels in Morocco, riad gardens in Moorish architecture). Since there's been no other comment here, and since it doesn't seem very controversial to me (I hope), I'll look into doing this shortly. Robert Prazeres (talk) 19:08, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
