Name[edit]

There seems to be some disagreement whether the Rimbach is a headstream of the Herrgottsbach or just another name for the upper part of the Herrgottsbach. Personally, I find it confusing to declare one of the two rivers forming the Herrgottsbach (Rimbach and Schmerbach) as just "another name". In the German Wikipedia's article de:Herrgottsbach (Tauber), both rivers Rimach and Schmerbach are described as "Quellflüsse" (headstreams), and there is a footnote "Von manchen wird der Schmerbach auch als ein Zufluss des Herrgottsbaches angesehen", this is "some people consider the Schmerbach instead as a tributary". So it doesn't say that the Schmerbach is the same as the Herrgottsbach. The only non-Wikipedia clone link I find with Google is:

Der Creglinger Fischereiverein fürchtet, ..", here the part "in Rimbach, Schmerbach and Herrgottsbach" cleary distinguishes between three rivers.

Thanks for that clarification, Cyfal - seems to make sense to differentiate both headstreams. Onel5969 TT me 21:39, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
