"Under the terms of the Rock Island Settlement Agreement, the District provides spill to improve the survival rate of juvenile salmon passing the Project. During the spring, 1,570,495 acre feet of water was spilled during a 59-day period between April 20 and June 17. This resulted in 73,427 megawatt hours of foregone generation valued at $13.4 million."

I assume this refers to a specific year. The article should state what year. Niteowlneils 20:12, 8 September 2005 (UTC)

Other Columbia River dam pages give the name of the reservoir behind the dam (Lake Umatilla for John Day Dam, for example). Does anyone know the name of Rock Island Dam's reservoir? Pfly 19:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I finally stumbled across the answer myself. According to the USGS [1], Rock Island Dam's reservoir is called "Rock Island Pool". Pfly 23:43, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

What parties were responsible for the design and construction of Rock Island Dam, as it is obvious, from visuals, that the U.S. Corps of Engineers was involved? I have heard that the Washington Water Power Company was involved and that the local PUD stole the dam. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 01:39, 12 November 2017 (UTC)
