Bishop Michael / Illness[edit]

Hello all. I am a parishoner of St. Etheldreda's at Ely, under Fr. Anthony Shryane. I thought it prudent to add a liitle information to the article about Bishop Michael concerning his present medical condition. I haven't made it to mass for some time, so the last update I got on his condition was around the start of February, so if anyone else in this area knows of Bishop Michael's illness and has further updates, please add to the article or here. Thanks Thor Malmjursson 18:13, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you possibly find some sources for the statments you've added (not that I doubt they are true). See WP:CITE, a press release from the Diocesan wbsite would be sufficient to be going on with, though third-party media reports would probably be better. David - Thanks for the advice, I have found an external reference from a local Internet Newsletter called Network Norwich, which gives an interview with Bishop Michael about his illness. If you need anything else, please let me know. Thor Malmjursson 12:46, 17 April 2007 (UTC) User_talk:Iceflow (Was Tmalmjursson)[reply]

No probelm, I've reformatted the information slightly soit meets the usual standards. Thinking about it, it might be better to remove (virtually) all the content about Bishops from this article, and place it in Bishop of East Anglia, since it relates more to the holders of that office, rather than the Diocese as a whole. What do you think? David Underdown 13:18, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, thinking about it, you are right. It would be better to add this to the article about Bishop Michael rather than keeping it on the diocesan entry. Good call. Thor Malmjursson 13:23, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
