Chinese wiki?[edit]

First album[edit]

All the sites I visit seem to call her first album Dong Ba La, but after looking into this and the name Zhou Peng, the album that comes up is called 自己美 (Zi Ji Mei). Is this a mistake on an earlier report that sites have taken the info from? I have yet to find any information on an album called Dong Ba La. Laghu[edit]

I just took out the part regarding her singing in Laghu, because although it is mentioned in various articles, in an interview she says she does not (besides the fact the song is labeled as being a 'self-created language'). If anyone has any other info, I'd be happy to see it.

"She also made up words for the song Lagu Lagu, but for a very different reason, and it goes some way to explaining her attitude towards the appropriation of other cultures... “I thought it would be cheating if I sang in their language,” Dingding says. “Most people in China don’t know the Lagu exist, because there are so few of them, but I wanted to promote them and ask people to understand their way of life.
