  • No DABs, external links OK.
  • Images appropriately licensed.
  • Spell out the full names of his children in the infobox so a reader knows for certain that his successors were his sons.
  • A few overlinks; use this script to make it easier to find them.
  • the Kilabi emir Muqallid ibn Za'ida, besieged the town of delete the last comma
  • Explain a little why robes would be included in a ransom. Most people don't understand or know about the role of robes in Muslim or Arab culture.
  • Clarify that Salih was the founder of the Mirdasid dynasty in the lede. It caught me by surprise later in the article when I realized that.
  • When two Numayri emirs lost Edessa to Nasr al-Dawla, the Marwanid emir of Mayyafariqin, they appealed for Salih's intervention; accordingly, Salih persuaded Nasr al-Dawla shorten the name on second use or use a pronoun in such close conjunction. And is he notable? If so, redlink him.
  • 12 May or 25 May 1029 similarly, delete the second May here
  • Be consistent about using short form citations. Add the various encyclopedia articles to the Bibliography under the name of their authors and just give the author's name and page #s like all the other entries.
  • Be sure to standardize the formatting of the two articles from the Encyclopedia of Islam. Forex, Brill is not all caps.
  • Nicely done.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:02, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
