Bears and Fish Ladders[edit]

There are plenty of videos and informal articles that document and reference bears benefiting from fish ladders. Are there any experts or citable sources that weigh in on the effectiveness of fish ladders, and whether they tip the balance in the favor of bears?--Semitones (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Most Atlantic Salmon die after spawning? Are we sure about that?[edit]

Revert[edit]

Hello Epipelagic. You wrote geez... what kind of "improvement" is that? Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Text formatting#Article title terms. It is standard practice to bold the first occurrence of a redirect term in an article. I hope this sufficiently answers your question. Thanks and have a great day. –Novem Linguae (talk) 08:36, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Novem Linguae. I didn't notice your bolding of zombie fish. Apologies - you were correct to do that. But what I did notice was that you also changed "a couple of weeks" to "a couple weeks". That was the reason for my dig. Regards. — Epipelagic (talk) 09:12, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Picture?[edit]

That picture seems to show little about the salmon run itself and more about grizzly bear hunting behaviour. Perhaps another one would fit better. Prinsgezinde (talk) 17:04, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
