I'm[edit]

I'm a novice editor seeking some assistance. I wanted to add an image to this page describing Salter Harris fractures, taken from the site http://www.radiopaedia.org/index.php?title=Salter-Harris_fractures

The image I wanted to use was the one that showed the six fracture types.

I contacted the author and illustrator for permission, and received this reply:

"Hi Dr Benny...

I understand that wikipedia cannot use CC-nc license (is that correct?)

If so, then you have my permission to use it as long as it is attributed to:

- Radiopaedia.org (linked to www.radiopaedia.org) and to... - myself Dr Frank Gaillard (MBBS, FRANZCR) (linked to frankgaillard.com)

cheers Frank."

I then tried to upload the image, but faced stern copyright warnings, as the image was not my own so I could not label it as public domain.

Can anyone help me with any copyright advice?

Salter Harris Type VI[edit]

I don't think the Type VI, added by Rang, is universally accepted...it's only rarely included in other texts. If it's to be included in Wikipedia, perhaps at least a reference and consider some comment as to why its inclusion is debatable. If including Types outside the convention I to V, maybe including the Ogden Types 6 to 9 would also be helpful.
