Its quite clear which English football team you support but I really dont think its appropriate to make it so obvious in your entries. This I feel could be said about many of your articles. Dont you agree.User:Doctor Jimmy

Nope. Obvious would be "BLACKPOOL GOT PROMOTED WHILE PRESTON LOST THEIR NERVE", but that's not in the article. - Dudesleeper · Talk 18:32, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would be the first to admit that PNE lost there nerve and as a football fan I will be amongst the first to congratulate Blackpool on this seasons achievements. But as your moderator mate says, lets not make any personal attacks eh. You started this silliness with your petty attitude towards some articles I had entered based mainly on the fact that I support PNE whilst you follow our local rivals starting with the Tony Ellis entry. Why though you had to enter a report into my article on Lancaster City being biased and to state that as long as I edit it it should remain so is beyond me. Obviously as someone born and bred in the City and brought up with my home town club an article on Lancaster City is going to look like is being written by a fan. What would you expect, that we get someone who knows absolutely nothing about the club to write the bio. The article is based on factual events that have taken place over the last 102 years so why don't you stop this pettiness and do something constructive. It says on your homepage that you have had run ins with a number of people who subscribe to Wiki. It comes as no surprise but why. We all contribute but all you are likely to do is put people off coming back again. My articles may not be the work of a literary genius but they take time and hard work and I for one enjoy doing them. The problem is that people like you feel as though you should have to police these pages and find nothing but fault with any little thing that doesnt strike the right cord with you. Why in Gods name am I even writing this I'm sure I must have better things to do.User:Doctor Jimmy

Your contributions are mostly okay - just leave out personal points of view such as "I can only image...", etc. (and the thoughs that appear in the middle of sentences). I was born in Blackpool but the club's article isn't at all one-sided. The Lancaster City F.C. article, however, was/probably still is. I don't know if the other person who has a gripe with it is a moderator - I haven't been in contact with him.
I'm not editing Lancaster City F.C.'s article without any interest in the club. If you look at the article on Lancaster itself, you'll see I've been editing it since September 2006 (and I took both of the photos in the article's gallery). - Dudesleeper · Talk 11:43, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
