Look at the linked article on Bodley's Librarian. She is one of the most important of all UK librarians & by virtue of her office, a personal of international importance. It is not a good idea to speedy pages that look skimpy without at least reading them or thinking. A probably N headmaster of the same name was speedied at the same time, but this speedy was a little on the absurd side. Probably a slip-up. The supporting information will be added this weekend.DGG 06:59, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • This process takes many eyeballs, so i don't regret the speedy. The still needed bypassing of the Rdr (the obscure Bodley's Librarian is suitable as a pipe for the famous Bodleian Library , but not as an unpiped lk) probably would have prevented my Db. But the Db process plus WP:DR works pretty well, and this outcome is a poster child for the combination of such lightly researched nominations with our deletion procedures.
