Error?[edit]

Shouldn't the following sentence "Even meionite (the variety richest in soda) occurs" be changed to "Even marialite (the variety richest in soda) occurs"? Avihu (talk) 12:36, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

σκᾶπος[edit]

The Century Dictionary and the OED suggest that scapolite < σκᾶπος - a rod. (A Doric form cognate with σκῆπτρον - sceptre.) What is 'asairos' supposed to be about?
