Untitled[edit]

The farmer for whom this road is named was also the head of the local road commission at the time. It is unclear whether the road was named for the Schoenherr family due to his influence on the commission or the fact that the proposed road ran through his farm. I am working to confirm this. --Mikerice1969 (talk) 22:21, 30 December 2013 (UTC) Metro airport is not on the east side of Detroit. I suspect the editor meant "City airport" (now apparently Coleman A. Young airport) which is near Schoenherr Rd.
