The caption to one of the pictures states that "Newer systems, such as the DF-31, DF-31A, and JL-2, will give China a more survivable nuclear force." Isn't that a bit ambiguous - presumably the force will be less survivable for the targets. Sir rupert orangepeel (talk) 05:11, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

China Does Not Have 3,000 Nuclear Weapons[edit]

Has it reached a point of needing a note, or will this mention in the talk page be sufficient to weed this out? Hcobb (talk) 15:41, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Does it control SLBMs?[edit]

The article says ICBMS and IRBMs etc. Does the PLARF control the SLBM force?Phd8511 (talk) 03:56, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

That's currently unclear, some sources say it does, but some do not. It just got reorganized so I guess we should wait and see if a press release says anything. If I'd put my money on anything it'd be the PLAN keeping control of SLBMs. 24.192.250.124 (talk) 02:17, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
