Mariano Rivera[edit]
The last career game of Mariano Rivera has been removed because it does not meet the notability requirements per WP:DOY. There is no particular significance in this last game or the last game of any MLB player's career. Additionally, in this case, even if it were notable, this date and the facts stated are not supported by a directly referenced source in any linked article. So it fails the inclusion criteria on two factors. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 01:54, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
- I see your point. However, the significance of that player is not debatable, so I don't see why we shouldn't. Further more, that moment when he exited was one of baseball most heartwarming moments. And I even have a source to support my claim: http://grantland.com/the-triangle/we-went-there-mariano-riveras-last-home-game/ 75.119.242.229 (talk) 21:12, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

- Still not notable. Against DOTY page guidelines as well. EvergreenFir (talk) 01:25, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
