Merge proposal[edit]

This article has been proposed for merging with Session (computer science) for about 3 years. I agree with this merger. Any thoughts? --KarlB (talk) 05:33, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Yes check.svg Done. Seeing no objection, I merged all of session management into session (computer science). --DavidCary (talk) 03:32, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

CGI Session ID[edit]

I think saying CGI Programs use CGISESSID as an identifier für cookies is misleading, because it depends on the actual implementation which ID for cookies is used. CGI only discribes an interface between webserver and web-application, not the protocol between server and client. -- (talk) 15:54, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
