I was horrified to see that WP didn't have a single mention of the Sneaky Fucker Strategy. Sadly I don't have the journal access to get good cites - anybody want to take a stab at it? --Calair (talk) 09:10, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I read a book on sexual conflict and I don't know that was even mentioned. There are lots of things to talk about; sneaker males not being mentioned isn't a big deal (and hardly anything is mentioned at the moment). Richard001 (talk) 12:17, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biological sexual conflict is the origin of feminism[edit]

Sexual conflict - the battle of the sexes - occurs in humans and is the basis of patriarchy, matriarchy and feminism: all combative systems against the opposite sex, limiting its chioce. In human sexual conflict, whether these strategies of the opposite sex announce themselves as such directly, will be evaluated on the basis of effectiveness. The mythologies surrounding patriarchy, matriarchy and feminism are themselves an adaptation, a tool against the opposite sex. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ef1011 (talkcontribs) 09:36, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this idea does have merit and truth, but it obviously is CONFUSING and complicated when you talk about the human species. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.92.67.207 (talk) 03:24, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

This page is the most complete page I have viewed so far. It covers the topic of sexual conflict much more indepthly than the chapter that I am focusing on. There is information about subjects that I have never heard of, such as penis fencing, antagonistic coevolution, toxic ejaculation, and so much more. This page has so many different sections relating to the central topic that I do not know what more could be added. Furthermore, this page has so many citations and references that the content is all the more trustworthy. The Talk section shows that this page is actually under WikiProject: Evolutionary biology. The project is deemed to be Start-class and of High importance. I do not really agree with the Start-class rating from what I see, especially in view of the History section. This page started in August 2006 and was last revised September 12, 2012. There have been many contributions by various users made to this project of the the 6 years that has been in existence.WhitleyTucker (talk) 19:45, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
