Untitled[edit]

This page , when started under the incorrect capitalization, was given a speedy tag by another editor.

As reviewing administrator, I think this indicates at least some importance, so not a speed, and will almost certainly pass AfD. The key importance is as a writer & editor. What we need to document this is 3rd party independent reliable published sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases) discussing his work. For his books, book reviews in published sources, about either his whole career, or individual books. They can be in any language,. but if not in English, a key phrase should be translated. Something discussing his work as an editor, preferably from some source other than his own paper at the time, is also highly desirable. Under "Book reviews and criticism" please clarify they are actually published books, not essays, and for all the books give a translated english title and the name of the publisher. You mention several critics praising him--we need references to those sources.

If his plays have been produced, say so, and give specifics.

You mention at least one award. See if you can find documentation for it.

Now, I think the article will probably stand just fine as it is. The deletion tag was added, as it should not have been, only one minute after the article was started. That people do this is one of the faults of wikipedia. And even then there was enough material that the tag was inappropriate. But do add what I was talking about, because I can not prevent it being nominated for regular deletion.

Two little things. You should not have just created the new page under the correct capitalization, but moved the older one. I've fixed that for you. Second, when you leave a comment on a talk page , sign you name by leaving 4 tilde marks like this ~~~~. It automatically leaves your name and the time.
