Has the relevance of this article changed to the point where the decision to delete should be reconsidered?

[edit]

As shown above, this talk page was deleted in 2006/07. I assume that the main article was also deleted then, as its history identifies 'revision' in January 2014 but goes back no further.

This leads to a few obvious questions, that should be answered before any further work is done on the page:

  1. Has the relevance of the article's subject changed since it was deleted?
  2. Is the subject now of an importance that permits of a Wikipedia biographical entry?
  3. Where is the review of the deletion decision, that presumably took place before the page was recreated?

To answer these questions in a slightly different order:

  • I am not aware of the process that is to be followed in reinstating a page, but assume there is one.
  • The subject's first book was published in 2007 - presumably after the deletion decision had been made. Since then the subject has published books in 2009 and 2014. These books appear to be of a prominence that make the author a worthy subject for Wikipedia.
  • Yes.

If nobody who actually has a clue pops by to look at this article and its talk, I will try to find out what the process is for my third question. (i.e. I'm holding out for a hero.) Ambiguosity (talk) 14:39, 13 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
