Armageddon?[edit]

Does anyone have any information in what role she played in armegeddon?

She played the gal that Rockhound (Buscemi) is talking to in the bar when the Feds collect him to take him to NASA. The gal with the fake diamond ring.

She appears a lot, interestingly, opposite Steve Buscemi in films. At least three I think.

Married... with Children[edit]

"she played a tease who was either a friend of the blonde girl or else"?

What does this mean? I know what all of the words mean by themselves, but together, in this sequence, it makes little sense unless a person has actually seen the episode of Married... with Children in question.

There is no listing of her being on Married via IMDB or her own site. Why is she credited for this show?

Image copyright problem with File:Saw poster.JPG[edit]

The image File:Saw poster.JPG is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Filmography table[edit]

Who keeps editing back the filmography (film and television) tables I am fixing? Lumping together the projects by year instead of having the year listed multiple times is neater and looks more professional. Having the year 1997 listed like 4 times looks tacky. Whoever is editing it back should stop because I'll keep re-editing it. It seriously looks better Dr.finkelstein09 (talk) 17:56, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It has to do with WP:ACCESSIBILITY. In order to have sortable tables you have to eliminate the rowspan. Also all the old code is a bunch of unnecessary HTML markup. I've asked someone with more of a technical background to come by and explain it. Mike Allen 00:56, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dr.finkelstein09, Mike's right about this and there's been a lot of discussion about this, so please drop this. This is the best practice that's been worked-out after months of discussion. It's about structure, accessibility, and usability. I'm rushed at the moment, but will check back here in a day or so. Cheers, Jack Merridew 01:51, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, fine. It looks cluttered and repetitive. Is there a way to do what the rowspan achieves in the new Wiki codes you are referring to? Dr.finkelstein09 (talk) 06:19, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
By adding rowspan along with sortable cells, it makes the table look like this when someone tries to 'sort'. Mike Allen 06:37, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, the sortable version is better. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 22:06, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The root issue with "rowspan" is that it amounts to "omit data". That's where other domains, such as accessibility and sortability, have trouble; they depend on the actual data, and fail when some of it's not there. Data tables should contain a full set of whatever data, without omissions. Jack Merridew 22:56, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"The Jay Leno Show"![edit]

Hello! I had to cull my DVR and one thing I had to delete was an installment of "The Jay Leno Show" as opposed to "The Tonight Show". I didn't want to do that, because Shawnee was in it as herself, albeit by accident! But anyway, my point is, even though she was a famous guest by accident, shouldn't it count in her list of TV appearances? Otherwise, I can't recall her ever being on a talk show, even on purpose. The incident happened when Jay Leno went to videotape some comedy skit bits at a nearby apartment block and/or neighborhood of houses on a block in Burbank. When she opened the front door, she recognized Jay and greeted him like a friend, but he didn't remember her at all, not even to his chagrin. (Or so it appeared to me.) She had to remind Jay who she was and how and when they had met before. Ever since then, I've wondered if Jay accidently revealing where she lived affected her sense of security and her actual security. Now I'd read before that her home had a personalized music studio in it and so I thought she had a big home like it seems that most celebrities have. However on Jay's show, her home looked to be very cramped! But I don't see anything about her having stalker problems because of that, so that's a relief. If I hadn't deleted the menu data about that episode I could write about when it aired here. Well, anyway I think that incidental, unintentional, accidental, funny appearance on "The Jay Leno Show" had/has merit enough to be listed in the article or mentioned somewhere. So does anyone else agree? How about it guys and gals?! By the way, out of everything she's been in, I think Jay could only remember the "Saw" movies. LeoStarDragon1 (talk) 06:38, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here it is. Who knows it could be all an act. —Mike Allen 07:18, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It was a pre-taped segment. If Shawnee Smith was concerned about her home being shown on television, she could have cut the segment off and told Jay not to air it. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 23:24, 2 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
