Original Trees[edit]

I understand from some source that I can't remember that the date palms were originally aquired from Iraq. This would be an interesting addition to the article if someone has a source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.23.105.146 (talk) 03:54, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

In "The Romance and Sex Life of the Date," Mr. Shields says that 25 of his date palms are from Algeria, and the rest of his palms are propagated from the original 25 trees. Visitor7 (talk) 04:06, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
