Importance[edit]

I object the "low importance" tag. Rabbi Alexandrov was a highly original Jewish Orthodox philosopher and a major figure in the religious life of pre-Holocaust Soviet Jews. There are already been written articles about every major student of the Volozhin Yeshiva, most of whom are completely unknown outside the Jewish Orthodox circles and did hot make any significant contributions in the field of philosophy. However, there all played an important role in the development of the 20th century Judaism - as did Rabbi Alexandrov. Why should he be considered less important? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Laplandian (talkcontribs) 15:35, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

According to the Philosophy project importance scale, an article should be rated as low if "The article is not required knowledge for a broad understanding of philosophy." Do you think this article is required knowledge? скоморохъ 15:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
