Untitled[edit]

I removed the following from the article because I really don't think RPG stats belong in Wikipedia. Since large numbers of these "vital stats" sections have been added to various articles, I'm using Talk:Strength level (comics) to discuss this issue in general. Bryan 08:28, 28 Jan 2004 (UTC)

Uh... those aren't RPG stats. Those are Marvel Handbook listings. To describe them as RPG stats is to describe reading Marvel comics as playing an RPG.

On the page, it claims that the Samurai can lift ten tons. Where does that come from? I haven't read all his comic appearances, but he didn't demonstrate superhuman strength in any of the ones I did read, and the Official Handbook (not always completely reliable) simply describes his strength level as 'Athlete' - which means above average for his size, but not superhuman.

If he does have it, it must be a very recent change, because he's never had it before. More likely, though, it's just fanboyish power-inflating cruft. If no citation is given after a while, just delete it. Noclevername 22:20, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

These piece of trivia has been highly debated: "The Silver Samurai is a fan of Lindsay Lohan, and is seen watching Mean Girls when the New Avengers come to ask for his help with Echo.^[1]"

I think it should be included, because that sort of stuff is exactly what a trivia section is created for. I must have copied and pasted the wrong version of the deletion, because if you look at the page DrBat posted it is in fact Freaky Friday that he is watching. And if you read the stuff that Spider-Man says he is a fan. I agree that it's an unimportant part to the character, but that's why it is in trivia. Based on the edit summaries the deletions of this piece of trivia by DrBat and EconomistBR seem to be motivated by hatred for Lindsay Lohan (I don't like her either, but Wikipedia is supposed to be unbiased) and disgust that the Silver Samurai might be a fan of hers. -Freak104 00:40, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cable's Two Part Limited Series, Blood and Metal[edit]

I would have added the Samurai's confrontation with Cable and Garrison Kane, only...I have no clue what was going on. I've read the two part a thousand times (pretty art) but that bit with the Samurai is confusing as blazes. Apparently Kane and Cable kill a bunch of ninjas over art?
