Song titles[edit]

I had just started to do some cleanup and improvement for various Chinese reality programs such as Singer 2020, but the problem is whether the song should be translated in English or retain in Chinese. There are many English articles for a Chinese program (examples such as Sing! China) that use the Chinese language for song titles and don't translate to English to reduce hassle (so far, the articles for IAaS and Singer used the English translated text and now i'm currently working on it to fix the text to Chinese). Lately there were edits that want to use English translated text, but please, because this is just a new season and this is a newly created article, if there is a discussion whether it should display with the Chinese or English-translated song titles, please discuss here before you edit. Thank you for your understanding. (TVSGuy (talk) 18:42, 22 February 2020 (UTC))[reply]

I suggest that English translted text for the songs is better. And I have recenly saw you remove all the English for song titles. 118.141.162.67 (talk) 19:45, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, thanks for popping by. Yeah the reason on this move is because to keep up with the consistencies for Chinese language singing competition as what I mentioned on the header. I do not think that English translated text for song titles should be used, and if I'm not wrong, I don't see any previous Chinese singing competitions using English translated text as song names, and IAaS is so far the only known show so far. I'm new to Wikipedia FYI, but I just want to help the articles, that's all.
Until it had come in consensus, please do not change the song title to English text until further notice. Thank you. TVSGuy (talk) 11:31, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, sorry to stop by here. I am also a fan of I Am a Singer and the edits I made recently was done on a goodwill because i saw anonymous edits didn't follow instructions and anyhow change to English text. I mean, we agree on one point where you decide on the change and how to follow instructions accordingly. So I can help by support you, and because you said that IAAS is the only show you saw so far that use English text for songs and you did the change to ensure consistency. Just keep the text as Chinese it is. 183.90.36.181 (talk) 04:49, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Super Vocal[edit]

Hi! This is a Chinese Wikipedia user from Hong Kong. I was taking a look and found out that surprise singer "Super Vocal" has been mistakenly written as "Super-Vocal 2 finalists". The 4 boys have debuted with the official English name "Super Vocal" in December 2019 as a boys' group. I have corrected the mistake and hope coming editors may be aware of the mentioned problem. Thanks! Feel free to contact me if there is any problem. --Arronwan✉️ 02:54, 30 March 2020 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for querying about the band and the disambiguation but sorry for a delay because I didn't look at the page. You're welcome to help out the edits as soon as possible. TVSGuy (talk) 05:19, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Adding wikilinks for Huang Xiaoyun[edit]

Hi everyone! Just letting you all know that I’m currently in the process of creating an article for Huang Xiaoyun, one of the contestants of Singer 2020. I've decided to add wikilinks to each time her name is mentioned on this page. It will show up in red of course, but once the article is produced it should show it in blue. Thanks!GhostHuang'sFan (talk) 05:41, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Article for Huang Xiaoyun has been created! GhostHuang'sFan (talk) 23:43, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
