Is a rhamphoid cusp really the same as a tacnode? Richard Pinch (talk) 20:17, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Double points of limaçons[edit]

In the section "Double points", it is said "The left curve (r = 1.5+ cos theta) has an acnode at the origin, which is an isolated point in the plane.". I don't think it is correct.

the origin is r = 0, r = 0 = 1.5+ cos theta, then there is no such theta satisfying this equation. --Wolfch (talk) 15:51, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
