2008 Social Democratic Party[edit]

David Schaich, unless you understand the party's history and the connection from that you have entered into opinion and like many times before personal attacks from the secular Socialist Party of the United States of AmericaTM. Until you can provide more than opinion the external link will stand.

FYI, this article is about a political party that existed from 1898 to 1901. Any new political party you're involved with will need a different article, as it is a different organization. Social Democratic Party (United States, 2007) might work. As you write about your new political party, remember to be careful of potential conflicts of interest. I like the idea, the problem here on my end is under review as to what the SI has ruled. If they say we are "new" than all is well with starting a new article for Social Democratic Party (United States, 2007). If on the other hand their ruling is one of "continuation" than there will have to be a combined article.Comraderedoctober (talk) 11:28, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The "continuation" would be with former SI member organization Social Democrats, USA, not with the Social Democratic Party, which dissolved decades before the current Socialist International was reconstituted, yes? -David Schaich Talk/Cont 22:12, 7 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not Stolen[edit]

Just a preemptive note that I am the author of the content here, which is adapted from my Early American Marxism website, mirrored by me to the GNU (hopefully got that acronym right) Marxists Internet Archive website. I didn't heist it from anyone, in other words.
