Stalinist Poland?[edit]

What criteria is being used to classify Poland as Stalinist? Stalin wasn't in power when Solidarnosc emerged, nor was Poland part of the USSR (though obviously part of the Warsaw Pact). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rivere123 talk 00:48, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Socialist Party[edit]

A considerable number of Solidarity members are also in the Socialist Party USA, and it is important to note the current that strives towards establishing a multi-tendency revolutionary democratic socialist party on the basis of independent socialist politics, regardless of the issue whether that organisation should stand in elections on its own at all, or just support less radical progressive alternatives to the two-party system. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.131.96.145 (talk • contribs) 05:49, 24 June 2006

This is a fair point, but the SP-USA is not a mass organisation, and Solidarity's relationship to it is very different to all the others listed. I've mentioned it separately at the end of the article. Warofdreams talk 00:59, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Remove third camp template[edit]

Third camp isn't mentioned in this article; and it seems misleading to suggest that Solidarity is, more than anything else, third camp. If we are to use any template there, it should be Trotskyism. --Duncan 16:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No opinion on this change, but U.S. redirects to United States, so it doesn't appear that we normally consider what it refers to vague. Dekimasuよ! 20:22, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
