Lion and cheetah[edit]

South African cheetahs defending their kill (a springbok) from a brown hyena.

Can I ask why the lion and cheetah were included in the list of solitary animals? The photographs have what I would want to say. Leo1pard (talk) 18:19, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Solitary is indeed a scientific term.[edit]

Check out this chart: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociality#Comparison_of_sociality_classifications

It literally divides animals into "Solitary", "Parasocial" and "Eusocial."

I vote for the article to remain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:120D:A123:B0CB:DCC0:7058:85D5 (talk) 22:14, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
