I edited this article while downloading a windows update at a library and don't know when or if I'll be able to work on it further, hence this note. I don't know what he did in the American Civil War, and can't find any U.S. federal slave schedules with his name. However, ancestry.com began asking me for additional information and links wouldn't open, nor can I find his book on an open site (despite its age), only a possibly new edition on amazon.com that I don't choose to link and which doesn't appear to have excerpts on google.com.Jweaver28 (talk) 17:50, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
