Non NPOV[edit]

I am against carpetbagging and I'm a Confederate reenactor myself (and sometimes Union) but I do admit this article is pushing the limits of POV. Needs less bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 153.9.168.177 (talk) 21:44, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

This article is unbelievably biased. Was it written by someone after watching Birth of a Nation? I hope that someone with knowledge of the history will come and correct its glaring faults.
