In the article, it says that the Spongmonkeys were created by Joel Veitch. Yet, at the bottom of the page, it gives a link to a picture created by Natalie Ballard, apparently their "first appearance." So who created them, Joel Veitch or Natalie Ballard? Professorstampede 02:53, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Shouldn't this be Spongemonkeys? RickK 03:47, 19 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Nope. 'Spongemonkey' comes from a mispronounciation of Spongmonkey. on the rathergood site, the song is referred to in the updates as 'The Spongmonkeys are trying to jump on the kittens bandwagon'. (the word 'spong', by the way, refers to a tradition on the message board b3ta (of which joel, owner of rathergood, is a member) of taking a picture and making it's eyes really large, usually with fezzes) Alreadyinuse 09:23, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)

wouldn't those lyrics be copywrited and not supposed to be on here? i never actually read the article i just saw the lyrics. SECProto 00:22, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
