I removed the spammy, advert driven and badly corrupted example. I have added 3 useful examples, one of them paid, one of them is free and the other is a flash version(more accessible example). I agree, that stock market simulators on the web is better as a list. However, there is chance of favourism with that link. The site is also not w3C and has issues. I had added my free non commercial stock trading site to this page, but it was removed. stockerz.com is however 100% ad free, free of charge and free of any kind of commerce. Open Source stock market simulation software[edit]

The article says, "Some of them are open source...", but doesn't provide a list of, or links to, any Open Source Stock market simulators. Any leads on this? Also: there's mention on this talk page about leaving in the Yahoo! link, but it's not on the page. Examples?[edit]

It would be nice if this page listed examples of software and web applications like this. stockerz.com[edit]

ladies and gentleman, For the last 2 years I have been developing and running stockerz.com on my own servers. It is a php based real-time stock market game. There is no advertising, no commercial interest and no cross sales. The site is a private project aimed to be an educational site for learning how to trade. Upon signing up, one would receive $10.000 simulated cash and with this you can buy and sell stocks on the major USA markets. stockerz.com uses as a base a forum called vbulletin and is developed around the member system of this software, the forums themself are used to grab all possible news rss feeds about stocks, so when one searches for stocks the rss feeds are showed to make better informed choices.

I like permission to place this link in this page, mostly because this is non-commercial but also because I believe it is a good system that has been tested over the years and although limited to simply selling and buying stocks, it is been worked on by several professional coders and program engineers. Among some of the unique features the system creates custom charts and graphs.
