Comment re notability[edit]

IMHO he meets {{WP:POLITICIAN under criteria 2 "Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage." as someone who holds office at 3 levels of local gov press coverage for him is "part of the enduring historical record"

A few press releases reprinted in the local press are not "significant coverage". the only mention in the national press is an accusation of looting [1]. –– Jezhotwells (talk) 23:45, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's the online record - his victory as the first elected councillor of the Monster Looneys (in a contested election) gained widespread print coverage at the time - does that not count? It is hard to reference without hitting the print libraries, which, to e honest, he ain't worth it :-) --C Hawke (talk) 06:55, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
