Farmers in desert[edit]

The following has been added by some one not logged in:

'It was worn by arible farmers in the desert.'

I do not know whether this has a reputable source (in which case please indicate what it is and presumably correct to 'arable'), or is invention (in which case it should be removed). For preference, explain it here. Peterkingiron 14:28, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion[edit]

I had not written much before, because I hoped that some one else would do so. What I have added deals exclusively with one town, but I know there stuff was made elsewhere. Having provided references I have removed unreferenced tag. I hope that the proposed deletion nominator will be willing to remove that, but do not think that I ought to.
