Areas for expansion[edit]

  • How are justices appointed/retained? Has this changed over time?
  • Particular powers of appellate review?
  • Historic decisions of the court? Role in civil rights conflicts?

Date[edit]

That's 1817, right, not 1917? Alai 21:51, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Current Justices' biographies[edit]

I agree with the Split Notice on this section so I'll be working on splitting out the individual biographies into their own pages. Rosiestep (talk) 19:57, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Justice bio[edit]

The bio of Justice Dickinson has been deleted when split because it turns out it was a direct copy of the supreme court's website. It is unclear whether Mississippi allows this reuse, and this should be clarified before it is put back in the article or spun out.

You might also want to make sure that Justice Randolph's bio is not a direct copy also. — Coren (talk) 05:12, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
